Fun with Time Lapse

I recently found the timelapse feature on my phone. It is fun as hell, easy to set up. Find chunks of time when your phone can sit unused, and use it on an unsuspecting idea.

Here is one:

In the Spirit of ART, i Name This One

ICECREAM

This is a short segment of the morning of the first day of school, new semester. The whole duration is about 30ish minutes. This road is not near the main classes section, but you can see many students walking down here. Also, the traffic is more than I expected. Sometimes the incoming sunlight highlights the dirty windowpane on my window, it gets cleaned only once from the outside. Best thing in my opinion was how the clouds move, and sunlight getting in through the gaps moves with it. Fingers of God trailing the contours, dragging the wind with them.  Speed is 1 fps.

This one is

SLICE OF DAY

I am experimenting with the different things that can be time-lapsed into a cool video, and in the spirit of experimentation, here is one with a funny twist in the end. I re-learned something today, that a light in the room makes the window-pane reflect. About 7 hours worth of time scrunched into 2 minutes.

No prizes for guessing:
